I feel pretty good about the past week. I did eat some pretty "bad" foods, but it was Thanksgiving and I allowed myself a free day. I did eat a lot, but I did not go back for seconds like I normally would. I exercised all weekend, so that was a plus.
Back at it this morning!

Yikes!
One day in and I couldn't get up this morning to make it to my spin class. That's no bueno. My justification is that they offer the same class during my lunch hour, so I will attend that one. But tomorrow I HAVE to find the strength to pull my lazy, sluggish butt out of the bud and into the gym for pump!!
I stayed on track with my eating, which is something to be proud of! I am really loving this website and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the fact that I can scan my foods from my phone and have it automatically add the nutritional info! It's so fancy and convenient!
MOTIVATION!!

Motivation!!!
My move toward goals include:
• fitting better in my jeans and pants
• looking great on our cruise
• feeling sexy in a bathing suit
• feeling better about myself
• looking sexy for my husband
• eating healthier to feel better
My move away goals include:
• looking in the mirror and being disappointed
• being uncomfortable in my clothes
• being uncomfortable in no clothes!
• being lazy
• looking at pictures of myself and seeing how FAT I look!
• feeling my belly bulge over my pants
• not being able to wear tight workout clothes because my belly hangs out
• having to wear baggy clothes all of the time because I look bigger in tighter clothes
I want to be realistic about my weight loss goals and I want to incorporate some "free days" every now and then to include things like alcohol and snack foods. I also want to get back to the days where I could make things healthy by omitting certain things or substituting other ingredients like light butter and light sour cream.
I also want to meet more realistic workout goals. I have been going to the gym twice a week lately! That's not enough. I think for the first couple of weeks, I want to workout every day - no matter what that entails. Jillian Michaels when I can't workout at the gym and I also want to incorporate at least 2 running days into each week. - More if I'm going to run Mercedes! I will need major motivation to get up in the mornings to go to the gym when I have class at night. No more excuses!!
Writing in this journal daily is not a realistic goal..But I believe once a week is. I think I will plan on doing this journal entry at home on a weekend day to remind myself of these goals and provide further motivation not to slack off.
I am also going to hang up my bathing suit somewhere in my room so that I can see it all of the time between now and March. I think that will be really great motivation to keep on truckin' through my workouts and maintain my healthy - but still yummy! - diet. Go me!! I also want to give myself motivational thoughts like "I can do this!!" instead of hearing that little voice in my head saying "you know you won't stick with this...." because I really can. And I want to. And I have the motivation to!!
