OK, I'm up to date with recording my weekly weight. For some reason, my "complete weight loss history" is not correct. Maybe because of the new year. BUT, I actually started recording my weight loss in April or May of 2007 and my starting weight was 215 lbs.

Hello and Happy 2009! I have not recorded my weight history since 11/11 and I plan to catch up when I get back later today. I have just been too busy - I have not abandoned the quest. I am at goal weight now and intend to remain there for the rest of my life. It is a very good feeling to buy clothing in a "regular" store and not have to look for the large sizes. I spent way, way too many years doing that - most of my 61 years! This time feels very different to me and I really am not too worried about maintaining my weight now. I love this website and feel it has helped me tremendously. For my first ten months of weight loss, this was my anchor - no other support mechanisms utilized. Then I switched to WW from Atkins (because I craved variety) and this still remained my only support - thanks to all my buddies who are wonderful. Then I found a WW meeting early, early on Sunday mornings with a wonderful leader who lost 91 pounds and has kept it off for over 40 years!! Why didn't I do that? Since I first lost a ton of weight over 40 years ago. I lost all those years of feeling fit and knowing that there were bones under the ever thickening surface. Water under the bridge, as they say. So my commitment now is to increase exercise and keep my weight down. All the best to all of you wherever you are on the journey. May this be a great year. I have been working at this for about 20 months now, but have been at goal for about the past two or three months.
