In 2010 I weighed 264 lbs. By 2012 I was suffering from severe coronary angina and had a stent insertion in May of that year. I read "Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease" by Dr Caldwell Esselstyn of the Cleveland Clinic and it changed everything. I have been whole foods, plant based for 6 years and am now cycling over 30 miles and running 2 or 3 times a week. My weight has hovered around 200 for many years, so at 5'8" I need to be around 160 ideally. So here I am, stting a goal and going after it.
