On March 4, 2013, i decided to change my life. I topped the scale at 255.8 lbs. I have never been that big in my life. I can sit here and lie and say ' i dont know how that happened' but I know exactly how it happened. I ate like a pig everyday with little to no water and zero exercise. I was probably consuming 4 -5 thousand calories a day of fried, greasy fattening mess. I was killing my body inside and out. I was never skinny to begin with. The smallest Ive ever been is 160 in my adult life and this was achieved by starvation and taking laxatives. The weight came off fast but it came right back as soon as i started to eat again. i have a son who is 4 months old. i gained 20 lbs during pregnancy and then another 15 after i gave birth. I am 5 feet 7 inches tall and my goal weight is 140 total, but will be happy and content with 155! It is now march 7th and so far I have been doing really well. I am calorie counting but not extreme, the first day i consumed about 1105 calories, and the next 1248 calories. I am breastfeeding, i noticed my supply seems to be decreasing so I up'd my calorie intake to 1500 for the third day and now all seems fine. I am going to try to stay within this range everyday. I also workout daily. I am increasing everyday on the ellptical and I also lift weights. I am drinking 1 gallon of water daily. I plan to weigh myself weekly, but i did weigh myself yesterday and I am down 3 lbs so far. I am happy and feeling good and hope to continue this journey.
