I DID IT!! I ran the Disney Half Marathon yesterday despite the FREEZING weather and sleet in Central Florida. I'm so psyched and motivated to accomplish my next goal -- lose this last twenty (or so) pounds! The carbo loading I had to do prior to the race didn't help my loss, but I am back on track today and think that I should still be down from my original weigh-in last week. I started back into my protein, veggie and fruit diet.

Great start! I know the fast weight loss this week will be the result of waterweight loss from my holiday binge, but it still feels good to have some positive progress.

I will be rotating 10 days of all protein, veg and fruits with three days of "free days" in between sessions. This is loosely based on the 10 lbs in 10 days program. Exercise and lots of water will be key to ultimate success!
