Good Morning FS Warriors! YAY!!!!! Another good drop this week! It's been raining here since 6pm last night and we needed it badly, we have not had any significant rain here since Tropical Storm Idalia, this is great because we got the seed into the pastures this week and the rain has arrived in a perfect manner and with perfect timing. It's just a steady drizzle, no heavy pounding rain to wash away the seeds. A gentle nurturing rain. I am now right at the weight I was when I came down with Covid, blessings abound, God is good! Yesterday morning I had to report to Twin City to do my quarterly drawer count and when I arrived there was a fabulous spread of food. Our Postmaster had catered a thank you breakfast for us. I collected a few plates of berries and melons to take home. I did not mention my fast. I skipped over the pastries completely. I simply said I had already eaten that morning and I was full. I got a big hug and some tears and I was told repeatedly that I had done a great job. She also showed me where she had paid me as a level 1 supervisor for my hours that I put in at the Twin City Post office, which just about doubled my already generous hourly pay. I felt very appreciated, but I told her I never wanted to do that again! So we had a conversation about my career with the Postal Service. I explained my previous job as an office manager supervising 130 employees that required a commute of 140 miles round trip and 10 hours per day and how I did it for 25 years and how happy I was with a job that was two miles from home and I was only responsible for my own performance and I did not want any more than that. She was satisfied that I was not being overlooked or feeling isolated or ignored in my tiny Post Office. I assured her that it was my intention to be a career mushroom and to take refuge in my small but busy Post Office that only requires 4.33 hours per day and 2.5 on Saturday and that I felt loved and appreciated by my customers as well as the Postal Service and my co-workers in my sister Post offices as they call and ask for help with things they have never done in a manual office. We have six small manuel offices in this area and as most clerks that go into one are simply using it as a stepping stone to somewhere else, they change clerks rather frequently, as I have an unheard of 10 years experience in a manual office, I train the new clerks via telephone support, even the Post Masters call me when they are doing drawer counts to make sure they are entering it correctly since it's only an annual thing and it works off a completely different platform from their computerized RSS cash systems. So I have a niche for myself here. 😁

Good Morning FS Warriors! We had a brisk 46 degree morning here in East Georgia! I put on my fuzzy robe and had two cups of coffee on the porch as I watched the sunrise, it was beautiful! I was barefooted and my froze toes chased me inside where I thawed out with a third cup! I don't usually do three, but today seemed special 😁. I tried to find shivering in our exercise list, but it was not there! 😆 Plans for today, try to get the tractor out of the front pasture, it quit on hubby yesterday, we think it might be bad gas 🤢, when I get bad gas I don't want to move either! Our Longhorn Heifer was standing with her front hooves on the mower asleep when it got bright enough to see, hubby was mowing the pasture down in preparation for seeding winter grass and that's important for the livestock so we have to get that thing to moving again soon! Ahhh the joys of mini-farming! Our high today is 71 so I see lots of outdoor activity in my forecast, raking pine straw to put around the base of the fruit trees, cutting down two 4 year old Maple trees that got some kind of disease and died in July they must have had it when we planted them because they were nearly an acre apart and we bought them at the same place and they died at the same time....I have no idea, no more Tractor Supply trees for us, we had two peach trees that died after two years that we bought from them. The pear and apple trees we bought from a nearby nursery are HUGE and thriving so we are blaming it on the source of the trees. I went grocery shopping yesterday so now we have food in the house....just in time for me to start my fast! LOL! It begins tonight. That's all the news I have to share for the day, ya'll have a beautiful and blessed Sunday!

Good Morning FS Warriors! This is better than I expected, but not as much as I dreamed about! I did dream about it last night, the dream started with me running through the woods...sounds scary right? But no! I had a number on my chest and I was participating in a running competition of some sort. I was on the last leg and nearing the finish line, soaked with sweat, my heart was pounding and I was breathing heavily....I was like the 120th person to cross the finish line. It was a wonderful dream, and in that dream I stepped on the scale and it said 140. I got a trophy just for finishing! WOW, I was disappointed when I awoke this morning and I was not in a tight trim athletic body anymore. But the scale dropped and I am pleased and I think that the dream indicates that my subconscious mind may finally be on board with my ultimate goal, that is a good thing. Fighting with old ingrained eating habits plus dealing with other internal disbelief issues makes the journey harder than it should be. Getting all of my selves onboard is a major accomplishment! Today, We are One! Ya'll have a fabulous day!

Good Morning FS Warriors! I broke my fast early this week 68 hours instead of my usual 84. We had friends invite us to a Pizza party and as we have not been social for a while....we accepted. They have a large outdoor pizza oven and make their own and had many different ones. I tried them all! I was good about not eating the crust, but they had a couple with cauliflower crusts and I tried them also...pretty good! The weather was so nice and it was so pleasant to be with our friends. I had a great loss, but it could have been better, I was feeling the water leave on Friday night. So, I have no way of logging this feast. The toppings were loaded with healthy veggies, but also lots of pepperoni, sausage, canadian bacon, pineapple, olives, onions, hamburger meat. There was plenty and we all went back for more several times. I was quite stuffed. This is post refeed weight so my actual weight loss must have been significant. The more pleasant weather of fall has had us outside doing things more so I have not had much time to post or support the rest of you. I think I have been popping in for a few minutes right before bed and just before I head for work. I am sure I ate past my 2200 calorie goal, but I did not eat any bread. I probably had some sugar because Sue said she puts a couple of teaspoons in each batch of her homemade pizza sauce, but the batches are about 3 gallons, she makes it in large batches and then freezes it. She does the same with the dough. She had some that were getting close to the end of their frozen lifespan, hence the impromptu pizza party. It was great, we played corn hole and canasta. Good time! I'm pleased with my loss, the fast went well and tho I am feeling swollen from the processed meats, I know that will fall off too! You guys have a great day! She is a considerate hostess, she had unsweet tea available for drinking :) Ya'll have a fabulous day!
