26 Years old. Weigh 228. Looking to lose about 50 lbs. I weighed 180 all through high school and the military. I had a few things happen, continued to eat as i always had, and the weight exploded. I am looking to get back down to a healthier weight. Hoping this site will give me that motivation I need.

Food Problem
I know what you mean, I was the same way. It might not be the easiest but I changed my outlook on food. Meaning, we eat for enjoyment, but it was intended to be a necessity. The problem is what we choose to eat and how much. Now when I eat, I think about how the meal will effect me. Just yesterday I went out for breakfast, I had any option in front of me. Instead I chose the egg white omelet with spinach, a side of fruit and a piece of whole wheat toast. When ordering I was craving biscuits and gravy, but by the time I was done eating, 1. I was full. 2. I didn't feel bad. 3. I actually enjoyed the food. Eating healthy will not happen overnight. But with hard work, it can be done. Either way, according to the weight, you are doing a great job! Keep it up! Also, my snack food is pickles.
