I really need to pay attention and stop eating poorly. Now the doctor is threatening to put me on medicine for high cholesterol. How embarrassing for this health nut who in recent years has piled on the weight and pretty much is always pigging out, eating from the cafeteria instead of making meals, running to the vending machine, buying chips 2-for-1 at the market and always eating seconds when none of this was the standard in years past. Yes, stress, yes middle age, yes hormones but I want so much that wherewithal to plan and track I've known in previous times.

Well, every little bit is encouraging. I was at my highest weight ever, 185, now I'm back under 180.0.
