So its been two weeks! I have to say it has not been easy and I wasn't perfect, but I already feel a lot better. I'm more satisfied with my lean and green meal and I'm finding that even when my family is eating foods that are full of fat and i would normally want to eat, I look at it and it looks so unappetizing when compared to my fresh salad with organic spring mix lettuce, organic ripe tomatoes and fresh homemade dressing with my side dish of cage free eggs from trader Joes. So delicious! Totally beats out ramen any day! Right everyone??
I have to go buy a scale so I can keep track of what I'm losing, but I already feel lighter and healthier and some of my clothes are fitting better.:) yay!
I just had my birthday and it was one of the best I've had in many years. My birthday would come around and I would beat up myself for yet another year of not doing anything about my health and my quality of life. But this year is different!! When my birthday arrived this year, I could be proud of myself for doing something now, not waiting! It is so encouraging to know that!!!:) keep up the good work! I'm reading this book right now and its fantastic!
It's called Eat this and live! I believe its by Dr. Colbert. He is a Christian doctor, so he mentions God's original intentions for us concerning food. But he excellently describes vitamins and nutrients and minerals we need and its just jammed packed with info that is really easy to follow and understand.check it out!!!
