Today was my first day exercising along with the diet. This is also my first journal entry. I thought losing weight would be really tough, but I'm following a non restrictive, flexible diet and I've lost 4 pounds in one week! At this rate, I'll be at my goal in about 5 weeks! This is what I usually eat every day (I don't really exercise a lot because I have no time at all):
Throughout the day
-Throughout the whole day I'm downing water and green tea like a fish. I think green tea might be a HUGE contributing part of this diet
[/b]Breakfast
-I eat carbs and dairy in the morning, Toast+jelly, oatmeal, croissant+PB, anything like that
-Sometimes I have that banana/blueberry/oatmeal smoothie, and I have a small snack, like a yogurt cup, for lunch instead of a full meal.
Lunch
-I eat meat and veggies during lunch, so coldcut sandwiches, curry (mom's homemade Indian curry), veggies and rice, any meat and vegetable in a moderate amount.
Dinner
-I eat fruits at night, at around 7 or 8 PM. I have a lot to fill my stomach for the night but not too much since it's bad to eat a lot at night. That's why I save the light part of the food pyramid (fruits) for last.
Snacks/Extras
-This is the best part. This diet is flexible enough for me that I can fit in a piece of chocolate or a scoop of ice cream here and there to satisfy my major sweet tooth! That's definitely the best part, the fact that I'm not restricting myself from my favorite foods!
