I have been reading a book called "The 10 day detox diet". i am gradually changing my eating habits to fit with the recommendations. I have heard it so often about eating 3 meals a day, but i have been a one time a day eater, eating at night when my scheduled activities are over. I have started eating three meals now and have found out that my midnight hunger and binging has almost ceased. I still haven't lost any weight, still need to be faithful to exercise. i am trying to be patient with myself and not get discourage.

MAKING PROGRESS.
I HAVE SUFFERED FROM DEPRESSION FOR MANY YEARS. IT ZAPPED ME OF ANY MOTIVATION OR ENERGY TO TAKE CARE OF MYSELF. 1 NEVER THOUGHT I WAS OVER MEDICATED. MY DOSES WERE ADJUSTED AND I FEEL ALIVE NOW. I GOT ME TWO BOOKS TO HELP RESET MY TASTE BUDS,STOP MY SUGAR ADDICTION,RESET MY HORMONES AND IMPROVE MY LIFESTYLE. I AM EAGER TO SEE IF THIS NEW KNOWLEDGE AND MENTAL REVIVAL HELPS ME LOSE THE WEIGHT.

I WORK SO MUCH THAT I JUST SO DRAINED I CAN'T MOTIVATED TO PREPARE FOOD AND WRITE DOWN MY CALORIES. I BUY A "LOT OF "LEAN CUISINE" TV DINNERS. MY HUSBAND WILL FIX MY DINNER AND HE EVEN FIXES A SALAD FOR ME. I SO APPRECIATE THIS. SINCE MY COLLEGE YEARS I HAVE THE HABIT OF EATING ONLY AT NIGHT. I GET SO ENGROSSED WITH MY DAY TIME ACTIVITIES THAT I DON'T GET HUNGRY TIL THE DAY IS. I ALSO HAVE A CHRONIC LOW LEVEL DEPRESSION WHICH ALSO HINDERS ME..
SO MY "DIET" IS NOT RECOMMENDED. SOME DAYS I DON'T EAT AT ALL. I LIVE WITH MORBID OBESE FAMILY AND SOMETIMES THE ONLY FOOD IN THE HOUSE IS LADEN WITH SUGAR, FAT, AND GARBAGE(LIKE WHITE FLOUR, ARTIFICIAL INGREDIENTS,ETC).

salad dressing
I AM TRYING TO STAY WITHIN THE RDI FOR PROTEIN, CARBOHYDRATE AND FAT. I AM EATING ALOT OF FRESH VEGETABLES/SALADS. MY "DOWNFALL" IS THE AMOUNT OF DRESSING I EAT. HERE'S HOW I AM CUTTING DOWN ON THE SALAD DRESSING. THE THICK DRESSING YOU BUY AT THE STORE CAN BE THINNED OUT WITH WATER. ANOTHER THING THAT I DO IS FIX MY SALAD WITH A MINIMAL AMOUNT OF DRESSING AND LET IT MARINADE IN THE FRIG FOR A DAY. I WAS WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED AT HOW TASTY THE MARINADED SALAD TASTED WITH LESS DRESSING.
