4100 kcal recommendation???
Have a feeling that was amount to maintain your current weight. What I have found helpful was figuring out what I need for recommended daily intake of calories for my weight, height, age, gender. Then keeping good food and exercise diary. Every 3500 calories that I net is a pound lost. It seriously works for me. Once I started applying this formula I lost 2 lbs in 3 days.
