Took a couple weeks break from my dieting. No matter how hard I tried I kept giving into cravings. I gained 7 lbs during the 2 weeks of no dieting. I know I shouldn't have taken the break from dieting but I'm only human. Although I wasn't watching my calories, I was still watching my cholesterol intake which is the most important for me. While on the break, I felt bad because I wasn't counting calories, but at the same time I knew I could go back on the diet. So I will be starting the dieting back up again today. Hopefully I won't give into cravings and will not eat late at night anymore.

gaining 3.1 lb a week

I didn't lose but I didn't gain anything either. I'm happy I didn't gain anything. It was a bad week. I had a lot going on and was having to eat out almost every day. I know I couldn've eaten healthy while out but I didn't because of stress. Also, my baby's daddy who hasn't been around for almost 10 years now contacted me which added a lot of stress. Simply because I'm not sure if I should let my son and him talk with each other. he has a habit of writing one or two letters then vanish for years which causes a lot of pain for my son. I know you shouldn't eat your stress but that's exactly what I've been doing. I'm hoping to get back on track this week. Wish me luck

losing 1.0 lb a week

I've still been doing good. With the plan I'm doing I'm still getting full, I'm still eating what I want to but with substitutions so I can lower the calories, cholesterol, and saturated fats but still eat what I love. I've also been eating more fruits and veggies. I really love what I'm doing. I don't even feel like i'm watching what i'm eating because the food is delicious and I'm able to eat till I'm full but still lose weight.
As far as the exercising goes I was not able to work out today. I've never been athletic so if I'm really busy I usually don't do the workout. Which I'm rarely too busy for the workout routine. However, today I was too busy and I didn't workout and I can tell. I am stiff and feel blah. I don't have as much energy. I guess i'm really getting used to working out. I'm going to have to start making an effort to work out even when I'm really busy. I don't like feeling the way I'm feeling today.

Back on track yesterday. I knew I could do it. I can't remember now how many calories I had yesterday but I now it was between 1300-1400 calories. Way better than day before yesterday. This morning I ate a lot but what I ate was lower calories so I'm not even to 400 calories yet but I'm close to it. I allow myself 400 calories for breakfast, 400 for lunch, and I split the rest between dinner and snacks and that works great for me. I also have to watch my saturated fats because of high cholesterol and I even have been doing good at keeping that below 8g a day for the most part occasionally I will go as high as 10 but not often.
Changed my workout routine also. I've never been an athletic person or one to work out so I've been easing myself into working out. I started out with easy exercises and then gradually added harder exercises. I also started out exercising for 10 minutes at a time and gradually worked up to 30 minutes. It got real easy to do the exercise routine I was doing and do it for 30 minutes so yesterday I started doing only the harder exercises and boy did I feel great afterwards. Yes my body ached a little but I felt great, rejuvenated. My husband suggested that I do the new routine every other day to not burn myself out and find another routine for the other days. I think I might try some yoga today. I found some workout apps for the tablet that are workout routines for yoga for weight loss. I think I'm going to check it out today and see if I like it. If not then I will need to find another workout routine. I would love to go for walks but it has been so cold here and there is still several inches of snow on the ground. I will have to wait for it to warm up at least above freezing before I go walking. Hurry up spring get here soon.
