Yesterday was crazy. Took kiddo to an allergist. Her hives and rash still haven't stopped despite steroid dose and benedryl multiple times a day. Allergist said she hasn't seen anything like it and wants her to go to a dermatologist, but she can't get in til June 4. She has traditional hives and then these other bumps, almost like mosquito bites, they appear and disappear like hives. So 2 different things going on. She is the only person in the house who gets them, so that rules out bug bites or being contagious. Kiddo is itchy, wakes up with bloody clothes from scratching, but is in a good mood, mostly. Allergist did give her a stronger antihistamine for night time to help her sleep and more steroids. I see no point in giving more of those right now, they obviously are not helping. DAnce recital fun starts tomorrow. So 2 days of at least one meal out. I feel sick just thinking about it. Eating out yesterday made me sick to my stomach. I did eat stuff that is richer and fattier than I normally eat, I need the energy I guess. But I have to admit the steak and shake butter burger was sooooo good. I didn't eat the fries, maybe a few, I don't like them.

SAid I wasn't going to, btu I have weighed myself over the weekend. Keep bouncing between 173 and 175. So not going to record til it decides to settle. And I feel a little better today. I think the weather and taking care of a sick kiddo making me feel blah. Also, ate out several times this weekend, might explain the scales jumping around. But at least they aren't going up and over.Going to try to low ball the calories this week since it is recital weekend and we will be running and eating out for sure. We always go out for dinner after the recital, its a tradition. Glad the dance classes are almost over. Next year will be crazier, my middle kid will be doing competition dance! She could have done it this year, but backed out and said she wasn't ready. I didn't force, and won't. If she is ready and its what she really wants to do, then go for it. If not, thats ok to, she is still a great dancer.

Yesterday, weird day. We did dance pictures, took 3 hours to get all the classes in. While there, my youngest started breaking out in hives. She does that almost daily with a few here and there. Been through allergy testing and she is allergic to nothing. They just think its an allergic type of eczema or overly sensitive skin. By the time we got home her little hives became the size of quarters and she was screaming and crying they were hurting and itching so bad. I got the older kids situated and took her to the ER. By the time we get there she had large hives across her belly, like 3 inch ones and on her back. They gave her steroids and an antihistamine. Also found out she has an ear infection. Either she got into something she was really allergic too, which does not seem possible, or she was having a weird reaction to the ear infection. She finally fell asleep at 1 this morning and seems pretty happy since she woke up. Picking up her antibiotic for her ear in a bit, hopefully it doesn't make hives worse. She has never had them from medicine before, but after last night, I'm a little skiddish of anything.
