Today is kind of a big deal. At least for me because today marks eight days that I have gone without having fast food for breakfast.
EIGHT DAYS!!
This is a milestone for me because one of my biggest weaknesses is fast food breakfast.
One of my biggest challenges with this whole situtation is figuring out how to count my dinner meals. Because usually we eat things kind of thrown together. (like cubed chicken cooked and mixed with veggies and such.) I am getting better at figuring it out.
This weekend I am going to get my own set of measuring cups from the dollar store for getting my food all sorted out.
The one challenge I have not faced yet is eating out. I haven't had the money to really eat out for dinner, but I have a feeling it will happen this weekend. I'm hoping I can do well with it.
Now I just need to figure out how to get more exercise into my routine. I am thinking it might be time to consider getting up earlier during the week ontop of my daily walks. I feel like I need to start really sweating and working out.

no exercise for this girl today. I am home sick from work, I feel rotten. Trying to not use that as an excuse to eat poorly though. We'll see how that goes since my favorite sick food is a quarter pounder from McDonalds.
It's about time for a weigh in too, I didn't think about when I wanted to do it, I guess I will just do it when I feel like it.

I got shoes!! Earlier today I did my first walk and was reminded how I really shouldn't be trying to do much walking in the shoes I wear for work. There just isn't any support.
So I decided to try to fit new working out shoes into my budget. Thank god for Ross. I managed to pick up a nice looking pair of LA Gear shape and tone sneakers. Only $16.99!! I am very excited. I even got some new socks, and will be trying these babies out on my 3pm break.
Also I am not sure why but my energy level is fantastic today!

Last night I actually
*MEASURED*
out a cup of rice. And it was kind of surreal. I think that is when it hit me, I am doing this. Or least I am really trying to do this.
Still no guilt for three days of no food journal! And to be honest I didn't do all that bad. My ultimate badness was having too many cookies. And not drinking enough water.
So now I am back to it, even though yesterday was still part of my weekend I managed to log in my food. I did bad yesterday as far as lunch went. Fried fish, bad Aden. But at least I walked a mile. That made me happy.
Now I just need to work on upping my water intake. Thankfully they gave us these nice 16oz water bottles at work for our Wellness program. The trick is drinking 7 of these a day.
