Another month, another Dr's appointment and slow but steady weight loss continued. Thank you miracle weight loss food: Bacon. Somewhere in the past few weeks I've crossed the halfway point to my somewhat arbitrary starting goal of 120kg, which probably still seems a lot but I'm 203cm tall so I'm never going to be a waif thin type. It's still my goal and still some ways off but every little step it seems slightly more realistic and if I get there, who knows maybe it won't be the end point, time will tell.

Another month, another Doctors visit. Almost 4kg down since last visit and my blood work came back and everything is good there and my liver is healthy once more. Last year it was '140' on whatever rating scale they give it which was apparently really bad and this time it was '46' which is apparently in the normal range so keto has fixed my 'fatty liver' problem.

Well that's a relief. I stalled over the Christmas period, all my own fault. I'd grown rather content with myself that I knew what I was doing, but in reality I was falling into old habits. Instead of the occasional treat that I knew was Keto friendly once a week or so, I started 'treating' myself every day and got the shock of my life at my doctors appointment 3 weeks ago where I'd put on .2kg instead of the 6kg I was anticipating I'd lost over the period. I think my Dr was worried that I'd entirely fall off the wagon since this was the first setback I'd had in a year but 3 weeks later I'm back in his office and 3.1kg lighter, but the weight off my shoulders feels like a bloody ton.
