I have followed my diet poorly. Wife bought Halloween sweets and we only had 4 people show up so I have been eating the sweets, not that I eat too many at ago, but all helps.
Apart from that I get nice crusty bread from a farm shop and it is gorgeous, lightly toasted with a little marg on, although a few months ago I did stop having marmalade and jam.
I am trying.

Had friends stay here last week so showing them the sights of the surrounding area etc. and with socializing didn't get too much exercise, and of course cooking on the barby and going out to dinner didn't help.

Well the week was going brilliantly until the wife decided we needed to get out for Friday evening. So we went out to a lounge in a hotel where they have oversize sofas and the like but also a bar and a pianist.
So I just had 3 bottles of the featured brewery's brew and then we were on our way home. Stepson messages us that he is in in a bar and one of the people that he is talking to knew his Grandfather before he passed 7 years ago, so we decided we had better go and meet him. After having a nice chat I also had a few drinks with my stepson, another three actually, angry orchard, not as good as crispins but it went down well.
When we left there in the early hours of the morning the wife decided she was peckish so we went to a pizza place and bought home a large pie when I consumed two slices.
