My name is Sue & I began my weight loss journey on March 3, 2013 @ 163.2 pounds after a calorie laden snowmobile vacation. I turned 60 in Dec 2012 & decided I would not go into another summer fat.....I have lost over 35 pounds counting calories starting with 1200 until I reached a "normal" weight of 146 (acccording to the height/weight charts)....When I got to normal I rexlaxed things a bit by increasing calories on weekends based on a sliding scale dependant on what I weighed on Sat morning...(the less I weighed the more I could eat)....The calories I took in over the weekend were still less than maintenance calories so technically I was still losing weight...Being down to the last 3 pounds is very exciting as I fit in really cute clothes & look good in almost everything I try on (my summer tan helps too!!) Hubby has been so encouraging!!! Anxious to meet some new people on this site & see how they are handling maintenance!!!
