My highest recorded weight is 325 measured in 2013; lost 100 lbs by 2018 through eating whole food plant based starch centered diet and walking. Gradually put most of that back on by making more and more exceptions to that diet lifestyle and doing less movement.
Back now to record my weight here once a month, 3 consecutive days and posting the average. I returned to FatSecret on Saturday, 2/19/22. My weight was up to 317. This time around I'm setting my goals at smaller increments instead of my ultimate goal, which is around the 'average' weight for someone my height and age, bmi junk.
So you may see me not being far from my goal and then see my goal as still being at a high number, but once I reach that goal, I'll adjust down another 15 pounds for my next achievement.
Currently I am not entering food or counting calories but consuming a whole food plant based starch/complex-carbohydrates centered diet. I strive to be oil-free as well, but you can only really do that if you never eat out. Also try to keep added sodium and simple sugars at a reasonable level.
I am open to connecting with others.
