I'm stoked to see the scale going down in spite of a challenging couple of weeks. Hubby bought me a Fitbit-❤ it!! I knew my sleep was problematic, but I'm glad to see that as my pain has improved my sleep has also- I went from an avg. of 5.5 hours of sleep to 6.5 hours of sleep. i haven't been very consistent tracking food, but starting it back up has definitely made me more conscious of portions and choosing quality food. I've also been experiencing real hunger in my tummy 🤗😭😰🤣 - means I'm much more in tune with my body signals. I'll try and venture to the gym for a low impact workout. My overall steps have increased as I've been more intentional to keep moving and look for opportunities for stairs or parking further away. Gonna keep up the momentum.
Weigh-in:
191.7 lb
lost so far:
5.5 lb
still to go:
48.7 lb
Diet followed reasonably well

Think I had a really good day today! I logged my food consistently, came a little under my calorie goal, had minimal pain, and energy levels rose as the day went on! Feeling energized enough to do a quiet reflection then jump into homework😭😭🤪

So, slept pretty well last night, not as much discomfort. Still a little groggy though, but back to tracking food. Hoping for a productive week ahead. I'm usually a creature of habit, so I try to stick with simple consistent meal choices. This is also a helpful strategy because I get super busy during the week and fussing over meals would likely take more time and increase my stress. I think I might go back to doing the "Sunday setup" where I essentially make a big meal to last the week and prep it into containers so I can grab and go. Tracking food was so much easier and I had really good success reaching my goals. Typical meal would usually be skinless grilled chicken and large salad. I LOVE meal salads!!😊 Here's to a great week!

So, having persistent back pain this week so not been to the gym😭😭😭😫 M ugh pain coincides with my monthly cycle and I do Ibuprofen to at least function and be upright. It's been chronic since I had my babies. Before babies, I used to run 5-6 days a week for about 90 min to 2 hours a run. The loss of the freedom, athleticism, and wellbeing I experienced with running has been really hard. That was my go-to favorite exercise. Nothing else has satisfied me or has come even close to helping me stay fit and be a lean mean calorie burning machine like running. I'm trying to get into weight training cause I need the strength and stability benefits but it's a struggle to be consistent. I've mostly been an Elliptical devotee now cause I can usually get an hour in without pain and feeling pretty satisfied. Had x-rays and gyn tests, so will likely have an MRI to see if we can pinpoint the source of pain. My goal is to get back to tracking food tomorrow. I hope I sleep well -the pain often wakes me up. I know this has contributed to weight increase cause I'm constantly fighting against inflammation, extreme exhaustion, and stress hormones. I'm hopeful and will continue on my path to wellness😊
