I know I shouldn't but i stepped on the scales this morning just 24 hours after my "official" weigh in day,

i use my "official" weigh in day as a high cal day, treat myself a little, yesterday was no different...pizza ranch was calling my name. Three slices of garlic cheese pizza, one slice each of bronco and pepperoni, one breast one drumstick of broasted chicken (i did take the crispy yummy coating off...well, most of it) three tater wedges and a big ol spoon of corn

i fully expected the scales to me mean to me, i mean, thats a lot of foods right? i had tuna sammies last night too so wasnt expecting a good weight this morning

big suprise, 1.4 pounds down on yesterday!! I know it is early days yet but having set myself a total weight loss goal of 64 pounds it was nice to say i have less than 50 pounds to go. Each 10 pounds point is a barrier i will strive towards, next week who know? 40 to go?

Happy Cinco de Mayo to one and all!!

Although it has to be said I dont eat salads at all so no Mayo for me EVER. I hate Mayo, I hate all salad dressings.... :lol:

That was a lie, I do use a light balsamic vinagrette or a light zesty italian as a base for my marinades when i get the urge to grill some steak or chicken but i am no salad eater thats for sure...cucumber is about the only salad item i can stomach

kind of makes the whole weight loss thing a little tricky(er) when you dont do the salad bar.

I wish I could eat a salad, they look so good, all bright colours and different shapes and sizes but i just cant do it....

anyone know a good hypnotist who can convince me to eat a lettuce?:shock:

to keep up with the Cinco theme, we had tacos tonight. I am sure i overestimated the volumes a little on my food log but i had three soft shell tacos (96% ff grnd beef and ww shredded mex chs....no lettuce or taco sauce or sour cream or olives or anything remotely salady) and a dozen nacho cheese chips

so that all ended up as 1200 and change cals and about :evil: 50g of fat :evil: ....a little disgusted by the amount of fat but that was (so far anyway) my only meal today, just been too busy running the wife to physical therapy this morning and helping my oldest move a bed couch tv stand dresser across town this afternoon and then getting on with my latest yard project
