RESISTING THE CHIPS 7:10 pm eastern time....
I'm definitely a chip addict, used to eat a large packet of thins for lunch - ver nutritious! Count me in. Re visualisation, thought I'd sort out my recipe folder this morning I now have a jaw like steel and trying to convince myself that I'm not starving, am going to transfer outside and get some weeding done instead. So far so good!

Calories And Cardio Required to burn 40lbs in no more than three months…hopefully
Hi Catbrook, that's about 3-1/3 lbs per week which is pretty extreme, and with only cardio you might finish up a bit droopy! Some weight training for the extra hour might be better. There's an earlier post below that has photos showing the difference. Good luck and look after yourself.

Love your humour thai spice, this will now be my emergency mantra - I AM STRONGER THAN ........ Chippies, cheese, bread and so on! I have a bad - used to have a bad habit - of eating up all the bad stuff just to get rid of the temptation, not a sensible solution. Will now face up to the supermarket shelves confidently stating that I AM STRONGER!

Saying Hello!
Morning All, new to this forum so it will probably take a while to find my way around. I'm a "golden oldie" who's been living too well for a while and now time to work it off! No special diet, am recording everything I eat/drink to be better aware and looking to eat a sensible fresh food plan. Walking and weights are my exercise plan, not so much for weight loss, but hopefully to firm up a bit - lots of flab, very depressing! Jim beam to be replaced with one glass of wine with dinner, and need to drink heaps more water! Hope everyone had a great New Year's Eve and we all achieve our goals in 2014.
