Hi! Well, this morning when I woke up, I had gone "p", and I weighed myself. I weighed 166.4 I then made the kids breakfast, peed two more times and pooed. I then weighed myself and weighed 175.2. I will take that as my daily weight. It was at 9 am this morning.

So, I kinda blew it yesterday. I ate a 2 by 2 thing of square of cheesecake and about 20 chocolate chips and two small bags of fruit snacks.

I read something totally interesting about burning fat. I have those ketone sticks and I really never knew what it was for. I found out if you lower your carbohydrate intake, your body will burn stored fat, and this process is called ketosis. I think. So, if you are eating mostly protein and small amounts of carbs (veggies and fruits)your body will go into ketosis mode and burn stored fat. So, I have these strips, I can't wait to find out if I am burning stored fat or carb fat.

Ok, I wanted to say the reason why I am up I think over 8 lbs in less than a month is probably due to the huge amount of progesterone I was put on by my doctor. Totally frustrating. I kept avoiding putting my weight on here because it was going up and up. I was recording my food, and yes, I was over 1400 calories, but I wasn't so far up that I would gain 8 lbs in a month!!!

Anyway, I stopped progesterone, which was increasing my appetite and making me feel tired and making me retain water. So, I started HCG diet protocol yesterday (Monday the 14th). I start the actual shots tomorrow I think.

I am doing this for 40 days. I gotta somehow follow it closely because I don't want to gain weight back!!!

If I can lose even 20 to 25 lbs in the 40 days I would be happy. Anything over 20 lbs will be a bonus for me.


This morning is my second day of the 6 day MD diet cleanse. It is hard to do. Greens and meat and 2 oranges. Yesterday I blew it with some butterscotch chips. Down .2 of a lb though, and I really don't see how that happened. No blowing it today. I start the HCG shots tomorrow.
