I lost 17.8 lb. the first week. I'm thinking the majority of that was fluid from eating relatively sodium free food. The second week I gained 6.4 lbs. I ate from the same meal plan as the first week so I don't have an explanation. However, since that's an average of 5.7 lbs.a week I will continue on as I've been going as long as the weight goes down.
