I have added glucomannan religeously to the diet and it is working great to keep my blood sugars stablized. No more insulin dumping for 2 weeks. Fingers crossed.

I have been doing the 17 day diet since 12/30/12. I have lost almost 15 lbs. It works for me because I am a gastric bypass patient and refelcts how I should be eating for my health. After day 2 I have had not thoughts of food and find I must set an alarm to eat or i'll go all day without eating. I feel great on the diet and am eating much healtier. I have not had bread or carbs except as is found in the food I eat in 28 days and don't miss them in the least. No sugar except in my fruit and greek yogurt. I make sure I pack a lunch if going out or plan on where I will eat so that I know I can stick to my diet. Salads with tuna, chicken or egg salad work wonderfully well for me.
If i hit a plateau then I add something from the next section of the diet for a day or two and find I have a 2 lb loss in a day. I drink lots of fluids but still have my fat free milk in coffe. I don't feel deprived in any way.
