No smoking now for 5 weeks! I started this on the 12th May and have managed to even get through 2 weeks holiday, smokers around me and lonely nights - recently widowed and daughter left to University in another country. Now it is time to address my weight. Not smoking has made me turn to sweets which has got to stop. I was doing well with my 5:2 diet before I gave up smoking and went on holiday so now it is time to start again. My foot injury is improving too so I can begin excercise again - just taken Lisa (dog) for a walk and we were out 45 mins and I am not in pain. I am still feeling rather under the weather and have friends for lunch - that should cheer me up! Not sure I should be starting today but no time like the present!
