I haven't really been focusing on dieting, or health in general for that matter. I think I'm screwing myself doing it half assed. Ugh! Why can't I stick with it?
I have a dr appt tonight. It will be an official weigh in. Although I hope have lost, it's still going to be higher than my last appt since I gained those 18lbs quiting smoking. Of which I'm back to smoking 1 or 2 a day. I totally fell of the truck this time. In every aspect. But I'm getting back on board these last couple days.
I'll have to make it a point to log my weight tomorrow since I'll know what it is. Ha!

Last night was really tough, but I didn't falter. Thursday nights have always been cook something really yummy while drinking a bottle of wine.
The urge to have wine and a cigarette and something sweet was overwhelming last night. But I stuck to my guns. I did have a sugar free jello thing. It was a little too sweet. But here I am this morning, the day of the week that I usually stop at starbucks for a mocha because I don't carpool. I was running late so thought it a better idea to just have coffee here at work. And I was only going to get a drip coffee with cream and not my ussual mocha.
God help me get through the weekend without all these urges! I can do this!

I think I finally figured this Atkins thing out. I just need more protien and need to back off the vegetables, or keep them the same, but back off the fats. Like cheeses. I was having cheese for every snack and meal becuase I love cheese and I love ranch dip with my veggies. I need to do more protiens. I bought a roasted chicken at the local grocery store last night because I just don't have the time to roast one myself. Some smoked salmon and canadian shrimp for snacking on.
I think this is going to be much easier for me now. Yeahhhh!
Didn't go to the gym so didn't weigh in last night. But I'll get around to it. I will say, I think I'm starting to feel a change after only 4 days. Ever so small, but my jeans right out of the dryer didn't need to be stretched out for a few hours.

I made it to the gym again last night. Only spent 30 minutes on the treadmill. For some reason I was extremely irritated. Oh ya, because I couldn't find my earbuds and I have this pimple inside my nose and it hurts like hell.
Nose still hurts, but I found my earbuds. Can't make it to the gym tonight. I need to prep some more food/snacks so I can just throw and go. It seems to work out pretty good having everything portioned up in baggies. Meat, cheese, veggies, ranch. It really helps to be able to just grab one and go.
I forgot to weigh myself last night. NBD! I'm going back on Wednesday. Hopefully I won't be as irritated and I'll remember to weigh in.
