Overdid it yesterday. Not sure how many calories I burned helping my brother in law move, but the closest thing I could find in the excessive calendar thing was "yard work." We spent more than 2 hours helping him move, but I figure its better to overestimate your calories consumed and underestimate how many burned though exercise.
Either way, I pretty much wanted to eat everything in sight afterwards and I got caught up in the St. Patty's day celebrations later on in the evening as well.
Today I can barely move, my legs in particular hurt like hell because my brother in law's apartment he was moving out of was on the 3rd floor... so many damned stairs. I'll try to take it easy today, though there might be another st. patty's day party later tonight.

For the record.
I haven't actually eaten this much pizza over the past 2 days. I'm just guestimating an equivalent for about how many calories in pizza I have consumed from the awesomely greasy pizza from one of our local pizza places.
Still, need to make sure I don't eat this kind of stuff too often.

The time has come to make some monumental life changes. I am currently looking at options for bariatric surgery and need to get back in the habit of recording everything that I eat to help solidify a case for the insurance company.
Had a very emotional meeting yesterday going over the psychological effects of what happens to you after such dramatic weight-loss. It seems almost like a Faustian deal but considering my family history and what is waiting for me if I don't do this, it seems my options are to make a deal with the devil and suffer tremendously to be pretty much reborn, or be dead before 60.
We are discussing the possibility of my wife having the surgery with me. They say that 80% of marriages fall apart after the surgery but the risk would be lower if both of us do it together. Mostly jealousy issues and the potential for things like affairs that didn't exist before. They say that risk will be lower if we both go through this together. Pretty much, we had an atomic bomb dropped on us as we hadn't even considered my wife having the surgery done, but now we've got much to consider.
