I do a fair amount of walking over Dartmoor / Brecon beacons. I want to lose a little weight and then start "easy" calisthenics !

Hi ,
It is a little confusing .. I just alter the sleep hours ( done by clicking on it )
Exercise section , agin click on it and it will bring up a drop down with different activites.. eg: walking , running , even driving .. just fill in the amount of time you were doing it.

Don't starve your self !!
Hi All ,
I have been looking at a few food journals and one thing is bothering me.
Several people are eating very little in the hope this will cause them to loose weight.
Yes, it will for a short time , but , it will only make you binge and your boady will go into "starvation" mode ! THIS IS NOT GOOD..
Once in starvation mode your boady tries to stop weight loss .
Also it will start to use muscle mass as food.

So, what I am saying is , eat what you are ment to eat . Don't drop it to silly amounts eg: 54% of what you need .

Get out and about !
Hi all ,
A lot of poor eating habits are due to things like stress,time,lack of knowledge.
As for stress , I love to get out and about away from the city /towns and yes, people !
I have found that walking in the countryside is fantastice for youe mental health. Concentrate on the sounds around you , birds,rushing water in streams / waterfalls , rustle of leaves on the trees..
OS maps is a great help . You can find and plan routes for all levels of fitness..
