Today is Friday and it has officially been one week since I started my diet. I have been doing really good with changing my dietary intake of fatty foods however; I have never been good with maintaining a journal so its blank. I did not log my foods but i have been making more conscience decisions on the foods I cook which has aided in my progress. i don't feel much lighter yet but I know its coming.

This is day 2 of my diet and so far I feel great. I am contemplating doing a cleansing of my system, however since I am still a nursing mom I want to make sure that this is a safe move for my baby also. I realize that it is not the amount of food that I am consuming on an daily basis that is causing my poor dietary habits, but the amount of FAT and Carbs that I consume on a daily basis that is causing me to have issues with my weight and flabby fat in areas that used to be toned and tight. I know that this is only Day 2, however I tend to eat the same foods in a rotating pattern. I can be very close-minded about the food and types of food that I consume. This is definitely a trend that I must address!

As a new mother, I did not gain much weight during my pregnancy (about 10 lbs if that); however, afterwards I began to eat anything and everything. As a result I have gained about 15lbs in 8 months. I am looking to regain my pre pregnancy body but better with a much healthier diet and weekly workout plan.
