Worked Chest & abs yesterday. :) benched 135...not bad, I guess. Going to work legs today...squats, squats, squats, as the glutes & quads need some work! I will go to bed early tonight. I have been staying up late all week and am feeling it! Rest is important...got to learn to disconnect & wind down.

Back to work, so back to diet!! No more playing around. I did enjoy my holiday (let's face it, I earned it this year!)...but I didn't go overboard. I may have gained a pound. No big deal. I did work out between Thanksgiving & Christmas, so I wasn't a total slacker. My biggest challenge through the holiday season was staying hydrated. I found that when I'm not tracking my diet closely, I'm also not watching my water intake. Since I don't
like
to drink water...it's important that I track water consumption.

Okay, I slacked off the record keeping for a while...but pretty much knocked off my diet the Week prior to Thanksgiving. I decided to enjoy the holiday season and not worry about things. Of course, while I'm indulging in cookies, etc, I'm not eating tons of the stuff, and I'm still working out and running. The only problem I've had so far is that when I quit tracking my intakes, I wasn't paying attention to my water intake. I had a dehydration issue the other day during a PT session...gotta make myself drink the water, even when it's cool outside! :)

Not keeping up daily on my food entries (especially the wknds!) However, I am pleased to report that I was a "good girl" this weekend. I allowed myself an occasional splurge (did relish one two-scoop helping of ice cream Saturday evening), but didn't go overboard. Rested up and had an awesome chest workout yesterday. Making goo progress in the gym & feeling pretty pumped!
