Ok so today was a great day on Valentine's Day. I woke up to a call from my gym saying that I had won the Bust Your Buns competiton in losing inches and pounds since Jan. 17. I won first place and recieved a Sony DVD player and was floored that I had even won. I was like all that hard worked actually payed off cause I mean from eating right and trying to get to gym everyday I ended up losing 39 inches on the whole body. I lost like 12 pounds and actually it was more but my instructor Sat. wanted to weight me after I ate breakfast and jumped around doing Zumba and drank a river of water I was like, "what the heck" that scale is going to be so wrong!! and it was but I just jumped on anyway to get my measurements cause it was about that time anyway since my 31 days... So things are going good so far but of no goodness of my own but God has been my strength through this. To those in the fight with me to lose weight be encouraged and know that all this work is going to pay off just stay motivated...Remember that inches fall off before pounds!!! so just because the scale hates you now doesn't mean that your body will not fall subject to what you want it to do, cause it will but INCHES 1st (especially if you are working out)

Well today was the journey of a new day. I thank God that he gives me the motivation to get through my workouts and to be conscious of my eating and what I'm puttin in my mouth. I since the middle of December have put in work at he gym and I'm starting to get the idea that putting in hard work truly pays off!!! Today I went to the gym after missing Tues, Wed, Thurs,and Friday from the snow blizzard hitting our area hard and closing down mostly everything and causing everyone to stay in doors so as you know I was going crazy from cabin fever it was awful!!!!! Ok so today my bestie schraye, we went to the gym and just had in mind that we had our work cut out for us and that we needed to put our workout in another gear and turn it up a bit. So we did this Zumba class, we are no strangers to zumba, but the zumba we were use to, was just now becoming easy to do and then we come in today Sat to meet a new instructor and got the brakes beat off us literally!!! lol I found my self panting for air on her Zumba and needed several breaks from the feeling of vomiting... nonetheless we pushed thru a whole hour!! I know!!! I'm shocked at myself!!! So we then did 35 minutes on the treadmill walking fast and ran in intervals. Yes, we thought we had enough too but I guess not!!! After which we went and put in 45 minutes of weight lifting of bench presses, bar curls, and triceps. After we exhauted our selves pushing it to the max we called it a day and went to eat!!!! Yes Eat!!! But we had a Chicken Taco Bowel from Taco Cabana no the chicken was not fried!! But overall we had a productive day and to go home and rest we then ended up doing a few free weight moves that we ommitted because we were tired. Days like this I think this is what its gonna take for us to get to our goal.....
