I have been a vegetarian / Pescetarian for a week now. Just getting used to the ropes. So far, I find that I'm eating less. I'm not all that familiar with cooking vegetarian. I am a fan of veggies, and rice, and pasta, and fruit. I have never eaten Tofu. :) I'm sure this will be quite an adjustment for myself and my husband, but we are confident that we will be very happy with our healthier lifestyle. I am pretty sure we will have to supplement somehow with some vitamins, and probably with protien shakes here and there to make sure we are getting enough of what is important. Once we get used to the food and the changes, and learn which foods will give us the nutrients we need, I'm sure that the need to supplement will lessen.
If anyone else is new to the vegetarian life, let me know. Maybe we can learn the ropes and trade recipes together.

Decided to become a vegetarian. Most diets come and go, and I find that if I cheat once, I fall off the wagon. I'm sick of the roller coaster. I figure that this will be a life change, not just a diet change. I feel like this will make me eat healthier, and live healthier. I've been at it for a week now. My husband and I are doing this together, although we are still feeding the kids chicken sometimes. I think that by living this lifestyle, it will make me want to be healthier, not just try to be. Already, I don't crave things quite like I used to. Soon enough, I won't care about the junk I've been stuffing my face with for so long.

Today will be my 9th day on P90X. Love it, hate it, love the results. Even the food is great. The body aches are what one would expect from such an intense work out almost every day.
