The day after my drop my compulsive eating was terrible, so I know not to be surprised if I see another weight gain next time I weigh in. However, today is proving to be promising. My appetite has been very tame and I've been staying in control/ not over eating so far. Plus, I got a call back from a potential job I applied to. Currently I am playing phone tag with them to find out what the call back is about. *feeling a mixture of excitement, nervousness and optimism* :)

It's a small drop, and perhaps largely incidental, but since the trend has been so much in the other direction- unfortunately- it is a relief to be able to record something different. Currently I am mindful of the fact that I am not actually hungry, but I feel empty and I am used to feeding that empty feeling with food. So far I am not giving in to the drive to do that, but I hope that it doesn't remain this way for long. I have poor endurance.

Compulsive eating has been an increased and recurrent struggle this past week or so. Motivation comes and goes. I need a job. I need to get out of my house so that I can spend my time more effectively when I'm home (and being able to earn money would be nice). I feel like my weight is out of control and I am fighting hard just to keep from losing more ground faster. *sigh*
