Out of town for a week. Got "sick as a dog" last Friday night and spent the night driving the porcelain bus - ahem. I think I horked up stuff I ate 10 years ago! On and on it went. Then the next morning it was like colonoscopy prep. Yep, the fun just kept coming! All that day in bed (except for the 'prep' trips to the can).
We were out in our RV for an off-road poker run. The only running I did was back and forth to, well, you know. Meantime, wifey went on the poker run (80 miles of desert and mountains) and represented us.
Bottom line is, when we got home on Monday I was five pounds lighter. So there IS a silver lining in this really dark cloud. It's been two days now and the weight is still off. I don't recommend this method, but if it works, it works. Ha. I'm being careful what I eat to see if I can keep this poundage off.

Finally got rid of the 4-5 pounds of house sitting weight I put on for that past two weeks we house sat for our son.
Now we're off for another week of RV'ing and Polaris RZR'ing. Hope I can, if nothing else, NOT add weight back and have to fight IT off!
This gettin' old stuff ain't easy! Ha.

Two weeks house sitting for our son - and it seems I went to hell. Got to see friends we haven't seen in years. That meant dinners at their (or our) house, and everyone likes ice cream.
