going out to eat with "normal" people (who are almost all overweight too) is highly problematic. a single "normal" meal at an Italian restaurant can be up to 1500 calories. I planned for it, but still. You can't go cheapo on a date and just get spaghetti marainara and skip the appetizers cuz then your date may feel self conscious on what she orders. obviously you are going to have a couple of drinks cuz you want her to also (he he). you can't do something weird like pick at your food, and you can't just order a single item like a salad or say "just bring me that 16 oz steak and nothing else. you can't act like you are dieting cuz then your date gets all self conscious herself lol. it's tough out there. that is why fat secret dinner parties would be kinda kewl. no one is going to judge that weird diet technique you use or if you just eat a salad lol
