Can't work out in the gym just yet, but I am keeping active mowed our 1 acre lawn this morning. Took 3 hours total with having to do some weeding and picking up a few stray stones. Felt great, tho the humidity was intense. About 1 hour after finishing we had a good rain drenching. That made my day knowing the fresh cut grass got watered and it will cut down on the pollen. Well Day 3 is here and getting back to eating healthy is easy. When I started this back in January, eating healthy took time and getting use to. This time it's so easy and even my wife says "aren't you starving, your barely eating"...Listen I'm eating enough to sustain my body, I'm not gorging or over-eating. I'm eating just enough to satisfy my hunger...Ok enough of my ranting and daily dose...Time for my daily quote, this one I think everyone can relate too....GOD BLESS!!! HOOAH!!!

Day 2 of returning to a healthy lifestyle. Tried staying within 1500 calories. Alittle over but not to shabby for day 1. Total carbs was 52, but net carbs was 35. So kept that goal of carbs under 50. Exercising at moment is very limited as I'm only 5 weeks out of major surgery. I still am not allowed to lift 10lbs or over. Surprised I am able to get out of sitting position. Man does the pain hurt. Will be getting an elatic binder for abdomen to easy pain. For some odd reason compression on surgical area helps ease the pain. Anyhow, enough crying...LOL. Day 2 of healthy lifestyle & back on track of reaching my goals...Have a fantastic day FS buddies and keep moving forward....Here is a funny quote to make your day...GOD BLESS!!! Besides returning after surgery, I have great news as well. The day before my surgery (04/09/2015) I smoked my last cigarette. I hadn't a cigarette since that date. I quit cold turkey, no medications or anything to assist. Just the will and the knowing I have to for my health. I feel so much better with the 31 pound weight loss so far and no smoking. I am thankful for life and thankful GOD gave me a new lease on life. This time I'm doing it right and taking care of myself....GOD BLESS!!!

Haven't been watching diet as I had Kidney surgery on April 10th to remove Renel Cancer. I'm back to watching my diet but not as tight because I have 1 kidney and have to be careful as to what I do and eat. Good to be back :)

I am sorry to say that I will be stepping away from FS for awhile. I will miss many of the new found friends I have on here that have supported me thru my journey. I will miss many of you and would still love to have you all drop me a message once in awhile. So I am going to leave my email address (mpmickeymouse@yahoo.com) and my Facebook (August Beck (augie)) so anyone whom like to keep in touch may do so. Thank you all for your support and prayers. Just at this moment, instead of focusing on my diet, I am more focused on my health...GOD BLESS and hope you all keep in touch...
