Eating Plans for the Super Bowl - watcha gonna do?
Wings are high in protein and fat, low in carbs..Wings do have many calories per wing. So depends on the type of diet your doing. For me I am on a high fat/low carb diet so wings aren't bad. But I also watch my caloric intake so I do maybe 5-6 in a meal. So don't think wings are all bad, just remember that depending on how many you eat will depend on how many calories you'll need to burn...Enjoy your Super Bowl Party Smile

It is an honor to have accepted your buddy request. 1.5 weight gain could be water weight. You might be retaining fluids due to sodium intake. Also, sometimes there is a thing called the yoyo effect. This will happen as your body adjusts to the things you eat. Your body will start storing different vitamins and calories to burn. Change up weekly to make sure you keep your metabolism guessing Wink Good luck brother and always here for support...HOOAH! Brother 4 Life!

HOOAH!! Military Vet...New to site
Hello, my name is August. I am 44yrs old and a retired Military Police (E6 Staff Sergeant) . I served 13 wonderful years for my country. During this time I stayed fit and exercised. Back in 2003 I returned home after 18 months in Kubal, Afghanistan. When I returned home I was diagnosed with PTSD. I had great support system in place with whom is now my wife since 06/09/2006. She was wonderful and understanding and helped me thru the rough times. However, during the years I have stopped exercising and have eaten well. Let's face it my wife is Italian and Italian women can cook Wink Now no one put a gun to my head and forced me to eat. It was all my fault and no one else to blame. I should have known my limitations and pushed the plate away after 1 serving instead of going back for seconds and sometimes thirds. I went from 232lbs to a whooping 398lbs back in 2008. That's an astonishing 166lbs gained in 5yrs. I basically added another person to my body. Well I also was diagnosed with Diabetes Type II Uncontrolled and my A1C was at 11.3. My doctor didn't know how I wasn't in a coma with an A1C that high. I decided to lose some weight and over the extent of 6yrs I had loss 91lbs. Now that sounds fantastic but let's face it, if I didn't gorge myself to begin with I wouldn't have had to lose that weight Doubt So now I weighed in at 307lbs on 01/04/2015 at 307lbs. My goal is to lose 75lbs by the end of 2015. Now I know I can lose the weight. Heck I have the mindset to do so, as the military has made me headstrong. However, the thing I am going to have to remember is once the weight is gone is to not gorge again to gain it back Shock I am still diabetic and recently have brought my A1C down into the range of 7-7.5 better but the range they are looking for is below 7. So hopefully with more weight loss I will attain that goal of under 7 A1C as well. In conclusion like to say that finding a free site that helps keep track of my intake and support of others is a blessing. Anyone that would like to add me as a support buddy please feel free to do so. I look forward to reading all your wonderful news and even bad news and be as supportive as possible Smile GOD BLESS! HOOAH!
