I've been on Atkins for about a month now. Aside from some alcohol slip-ups (going out and socializing, still taking it easy), I've been pretty good about sticking with it. But I have lost abolutely NO weight. I thought I had inched down about 4 pounds at one point, but it was just the reular variance that I always have.
With a few exceptions, I usually try to minimize the calories, too, but on those days that I do take in more calories, I'm super careful about carbs.
I've not been able to find ketostix to test with and I do take 75 mg of Lamictal for bi-polar. I read recently that some medications can screw with your metabolism. But I did make sure I'm not on anything that will make me gain-----and I haven't. I jsut can't lose any.
