I haven't written in here in a while. Having some health issues and they have been, mentally, getting the best of me. Being worried about things takes up so much time and energy - all of your time and energy in fact.
Anyway, after having taken a week "off" I've refocused my efforts and am back on the fitness horse. Much to my surprise when I got weighed yesterday I lost several pounds!! So happy.

Hmmmmm, being honest with oneself not to mention having it accessible to everyone on the site. . . .well since it's going to help me, I don't mind at all.
It's also a bit shocking for me. I've never had my caloric intake right there in black and white. And the breakdown of carbs, fat and protein. I like it though.
I think this is really going to help me a lot :)

This is a new beginning for me. I am happy, excited and anxious to see how much I can accomplish. I'm also excited to see what hints and tips people will share that helped them on their journey that might also help me on mine.
I'm glad to say that I'm not doing this alone. Some friends of mine are also trying to get healthier. We're on this journey together, supporting and encouraging one another. WE WILL DO THIS!!
