Well my scale stopped working, even with a change of battery it wouldn't work. Bought a new scale yesterday and I either haven't been paying attention to my intake as well or scales differ slightly. Either way, time to refocus.

Ugh, two days and I didn't track my foods. I ate less than admirably as well, maybe that is why I conveniently didn't track. No excuses! I just wanted some fettucine alfredo with buttery garlic cheese bread. I also just wanted some grape licorice. Got to put an end to that free for all food eating without forethought. Will not undo my good and hard work so far. In times past a day or two of poor choices would've spiraled me into a "might as well quit" mindset. Not this time! Just gonna get refocused and recommitted. As many ladies in my WW meetings used to say....nothing tastes better than skinny feels. Although I don't believe any of us should strive for "skinny" as skinny isnt necessarily healthy. I am gonna lean towards that mantra...nothing tastes better than fit feels!

Not diet/health related at all...something is wrong with my dog though and as soon as the vet's office opens at 8am we will be there. I started noticing an odd posturing last night around dinner. Prayed in hopes that the Lord would "heal" whatever it is before I woke up this morning. That was not the case. She's having trouble walking, has yelped a few times (which is horrible to hear because you can't do anything to fix the pain/problem). Being that this is my journal, this is my main focus today.

Did not get an opportunity (or truth be told did not make an opportunity) to ride my bike this weekend. The park I go to was closed as they were having boat racing on the lake both days this weekend. Should have planned around that. I did get yardwork done and will just have to consider that my exercise although I do that each weekend anyway. Still eating right and losing weight. Total of 17 pounds since May 3rd! I'm proud that I am continuing on without the benefit of WW meetings this time.
