Today was a much better day. I went down a total of 280 steps and up a total of 149 steps today. Basically I went from our 5th floor office down to the basement floor and then back up, and then went back down again at then end of the day. I thought I might die after the climbing part, but I didn't :)

My eating was so much better as well and never once during the day did I feel hungry or as if I was starving myself. I made sure to plan out my meals and snacks throughout the day so that even when I got home, I wasn't ravished and eating everything in sight while trying to make dinner. After each meal and snack I felt satisfied as well ... no feelings of being stuffed, bloated or heavy.

We went for a walk again tonight (trying to make it a nightly habit, weather permitting) and at my hubby's encouragement, even threw in a couple of jogs up the hilly parts of our "path". Overall we did 3.1 miles in about 48 minutes, so not too shabby!!

What I'm even happier about is after a really bad weekend of splurging, I have gotten back to my pre-weekend weight of 224.4 and that's such a happy feeling. I know it seems like I haven't gone anywhere but I'm just happy that it's no longer going to register as a GAIN!

One last thing I'm really happy about is after our walk tonight, I had saved up a few extra calories for a treat. I had an old fashioned Bomb Pop and it was the PERFECT thing for after our walk ... and it was half the calories that I had planned on!! EVEN BETTER!!

I still have a long way to go to get into that Bride's Maids dress, but I've still got a month to do it and I feel like I'm FINALLY sticking to something that will last and I WILL do this!!

Well, yesterday wasn't such a good day. We had a pretty lazy day at home and while it was nice, it wasn't helping me to reach my goals.

I have a very real need to lose this weight, or otherwise I will be walking down the aisle of my brother's wedding naked! His wedding is in 5 weeks and I already have my bridesmaid dress for it. The dress is a size too small as it is a dress that I already had from a previous wedding I was in and thankfully it is the same color scheme as my brother's wedding. So thankful for that because those dresses are EXPENSIVE!!! So this is a huge money saver for us and who can't use a little savings these days?

Yesterday, as I said, was a lazy day and my hubby wanted me to make his favorite soup, Zuppa Toscana from Olive Garden. I made a double batch and while I only had one bowl, that soup is ridiculously bad for you (bacon, sausage, heavy whipping cream, etc) Sun chips and soda rounded out the fattening meal and I felt the effects of it later that night ... sluggish, bloated and just blah.

Hopefully today will be better!
