Hey there
it has been a long time since I have been using sparkpeople.com after the loss of my uncle my mom fell ill with brain cancer, she had a stroke during her surgery and I have been spending alot of time shifting between work and her and she lives 3 hours away....I gained again and it sucks so I have decided to do something about it.
I am making changes in my eating and calculating my calories, but I am also starting to work out more and tomorrow is a big day for me....I am going to start running...me...running part of me is laughing saying "what a joke you cannot do this" the other looks at the people on the biggest loser and sees people twice my size running so why can't I....so tomorrow I am going to start slow seeing as I walk everywhere and all I am going to start with a walk 4 mins and run 1 min for 30 mins then get use to that and slowly increase the run times until I can run for 30 mins straight!!!!! so we will see how this goes...I have started to think of things I need ie knee brace, sports bras, ipod holder for my arm etc so I have no excuses so here is goes I will let you know how it went tomorrow!!!!

well I did it I ran 1 min intervals walking for 4 mins and I made it ...it hurt but I was so pleased with myself after I did it and finished it!!!! I would have quit before but I would not let myself quit because I would let myself down! I did it and it makes me proud of myself and I actually came home and did some wii fit and some yoga so all in all a good day for working out!!!!!
