Not a great weekend. Two family birthdays celebrated at a restaurant with choice of pizza, fried chicken strips or finger steaks. I had a piece of pizza, a finger steak and a pretty good-sized piece of cake. I figured since I blew it, I might as well have Lucky Charms (BIG bowl) for dinner last night. Yikes! So far, so good today. Took a good, brisk walk and have been following high protein, low carb pretty well. I need to order the book, I'm relying on my memory from reading the book, and on Dr. Richard Bernstein's Diabetes Solution for ideas. Will have a tofu & veggie stir fry for lunch. Not sure about dinner, as I'm cooking spaghetti and meat sauce for my family.

2 protein shakes before lunch; walked 40 minutes at 5am. Laundry, bills and housekeeping today, no appointments.
