Feeling pretty awesome today, FatSecret friends!
Another pound down, another part of the old me gone for
good
. This makes my total so far to 47 pounds eradicated.
Things I've realized as I've been losing weight:
1: Food is not entertainment.
2: Being satisfied with a meal does not mean needing to be absolutely stuffed.
3: Exercise is unnecessary for me to lose weight, but is enjoyable on its own and has other benefits. (Dear kettlebell, sorry that we've not hung out in a few months; I've been busy with other things.)
4: The number on the scale is just a number. It's merely a single marker to go by; one should not hinge their entire success based on that (and should most certainly not throw in the towel if no change is being seen).
5: All of the weight gained was not put on in a few months, and it won't take just a few months to get rid of it, either.
6: Diets never work for the long term. Lifestyle changes do.

The only thing which is terribly inconvenient about a 'whoosh' is that your body does not care at which time it decides to dump that water, haha.
So sleep wasn't the most solid, but hey, can't complain about the outcome!

The past several days have been amazing! Catching up with friends whom I've not seen in a billion years, revisiting old haunts, going out to see one of my favorite groups perform live, and now I'm officially under 200 pounds!
This weightloss journey has given me so much back that I didn't realize was gone. I feel like I'm becoming once again the me who I could only recall from memory. 199 wasn't the magic number for this, though an important milestone! The best is certainly yet to come, I feel.
