Have not weighed in, in a few days. Dress pants are especially fitting better. Cutting way back on alcohol and I think that is a substantial "win" for weight loss. I encourage everyone to do some research on this. Unfortunately, the way our bodies use and metabolize alcohol is just bad, bad, bad for the waistline.
POSSIBLY starting a Cross-fit program... not going to lie, little intimidated! One of the main weight-loss strategies from what I understand is opting for the Paleo diet. So... as much as I've learned to love that slice of rye in the morning and/ or peanut butter, brown rice for lunch NONE of these are within the Paleo realm. I will be trying to swap out the bread, rice, peanut butter this next grocery shopping trip.

Weekend went better than expected. Did not overindulge in the foods. Weight is down from last week. Would really love to see some major changes throughout the summer. Feeling positive. Weight training and cardio sesh planned for this evening. Hopeful that I will have the willpower to wake up early enough tomorrow morning to do yoga class at my new club. Meals for the day are all planned out. Shins still have a twinge of pain. Fingers super crossed that I can get a run in this week.

Down 1.4lbs in one day. Very pleased...
Water weight? Probably. Does not matter, I'll take it! :D
I read an article last evening from a medical journal stating that losing between 3-5lbs per week is not only very possible, it is not even discouraged! That being said, I will aim for 3 to be safe and if more is shed, I won't be mad.
Eating between 1000-1200 calories per day is the way to achieve this. Obviously you can bump that figure slightly on intense cardio days.
I feel pretty satisfied with my breakfast and lunch options. Dinner will also be fairly easy to adhere to. Still overthinking the weekend eating/ drinking (temptations are the worst).
