So far so good. Easy does it, right? Well now that I've eliminated eating junky food, I find that I am not eating enough calories during the day. I've dropped a few pounds really quick. Not that I'm complaining, but I don't wanna do it too fast or I might gain it back. I'm on a thrifty budget so I can't stock up too much on the perishable stuff. I do what I can with what I have.

Are there any opinions on milk? I would drink SO much milk before because I made it chocolate milk ;) BUT now since I can't have the chocolate I don't drink it too much. I have heard that milk is full of sugar. If I am cutting my sugar intake, do you think milk is still okay to drink or not?

I have also heard from some people that milk comes from cows and is meant for their babies..NOT for humans. Any thoughts on this theory?

I stepped on the scale this morning :)

I was happy to see almost 3 pounds down today. It was very motivating. I started on Monday with my challenge of not eating any sugar. I've done really well. It's been tough and it's tempting when I need energy at work and want to reach for that soda. It also doesn't help that I have cookies staring me in the face the entire day at work too. I work in fast food..could you tell? lol...

Either way, I have stuck to it and the intitial pounds are starting to come off. I know that they'll come off fast at first...the frustrating part comes later. I'll cross that bridge when I get there :)
