Doing mostly Atkins - that is, with proteins, cheese, and butter, virtually no carbs, but with veggies too. Maybe a little creamer in the coffee, but that's it. Officially starting on diet today, but have lost 4 pounds in the past four days on this. Not doing much exercise at this point; a little discouraged as I lost my job last Friday. The last thing I want to do is sit around and get fat(ter).

Going on a trip this weekend, driving 6 hours Friday and then coming back Sunday, then all day seminar Saturday. I'm thinking I'm not going to be able to do the diet on Saturday but am going to get back on Sunday. Hopefully I won't gain.

I started the Quick Weight Loss diet 5 days ago and so far, I've lost about 6 pounds, which is probably mostly water - you have to drink tons. I only joined for a month tho, because it was a lot more expensive than the 30 pounds in 30 days for $30 that they were advertising for - like 12 times that much - but hopefully, I'll get the boost to lose the first 12-20 pounds (they guarantee a loss of 3-5 pounds a week) and then will keep going on it.
