Well...hubby came home with Chinese. He's not on a diet (neither is my daughter) and they know how much I love Chinese. He didn't buy a meal like I usually get, but did bring home a veggie egg roll. I went on here trying to find calories in an egg roll, but couldn't really find too much. I went just picked one somewhere in the middle and went with that. I can't be "exact" on this. Surprisingly, it wasn't as bad in calories as I thought. It's the weekend and I've been good, so what the heck. I knew I was going to go over my calories having wine to unwind anyway :) Cheat night!

Had breakfast for dinner tonight. This is one of my favorite breakfast's and very low-cal. I knew I'd be partying a little tonight and even staying up later, so I decided to be careful what I had for dinner. If I get real hungry, I could even have this again (even half it) and still be okay. This is pretty healthy: egg whites, spinach, half a slice of swiss cheese and two slices of tomato (I went with the drop-down Bob Evan's tomato--close enough). My big thing is protein until I get used to this diet. One week and one day and I'm not weighing myself! I know I haven't lost a lot, but I do know I don't feel as puffy and my shirt isn't extremely tight :)

I just tried to eat the Kitchen & Love Quinoa quick meal with mango & roasted pepper. I didn't like it at all. I tried as hard as I could to eat it-literally gagged over half of it down because I thought it was low-cal and good for you. No way. I have to throw the rest away. I'll eat the chicken strips instead! Ughhhh...I was hoping this was going to be good!

Hubby was going to make me a chicken sald for dinner, but it seems like that's all I've been eating. Soooo...I'm trying something new tonight. It's some type of a cup-on-the go quinoa (spelled that wrong) with mango (I'll put it on here after I eat it!). I'm going to try to talk hubby into going for a walk, but I doubt he will! It's a week today I started my diet and recorded my food. I'm so excited. Still not going to get on the scale! I think I may wait a month or two!

Done eating and drinking any calories for the night. The only thing I regret is talking on the phone while I have my desert--my glass of wine. It's my one vice and it's actually under 5 oz--lol. I like to sit here quietly and play on my computer and end my day with that. Mom called and we talked for a long time, sooo...we'll see, I may have another small glass. It's just hubby and me tonight. My youngest is at a friends.
