Not much to say here today. I worked 10.5 hours today at the bowling alley and was careful of what I ate. I wrote everything down and even drank more water than I am used to; I really need to get back to my personal challenge of drinking three Brita water bottles a day.

Other than trying to focus on the weight loss and lifestyle changes, I can just say that I am physically very tired and sore. My feet and legs especially. I believe it is from working so many hours a week and I'm standing on my feet literally the entire time I'm working whether its at the bank or the bar or at the massage clinic. It's starting to catch up with me unfortunately. I believe this also ties into my massive weight gain the past 18 months.

Hopefully tomorrow I will get my recumbent bike delivered and I'll be able to get that put together and get started on my cardio routine! :-) Can't wait!

I'm 26 years old and I was just told the other day at a health screening that I have borderline-high/high cholesterol. My total count was 222; HDL was 65, LDL 146 and triglycerides 50. I was told that given the HDL and triglyceride numbers being so strong, the high LDL isn't actually the terrible cholesterol we're all taught to fear but actually a much less harmful sort of cholesterol. Either way, I've got a BMI of 26 so I'm just barely overweight and I feel I'm too young to have that kind of total cholesterol number.

I've gained 30 pounds since changing jobs 18 months ago (went from working in a gym to working in an office) and I can feel it in almost every way. I feel like I'm depressed and tired and stressed out all the time now, and at first I thought it was from working 3 part time jobs 7 days a week without a break, but I think it's more than that: My healthy lifestyle has completely disappeared instantly and I'm struggling now for it.

I purchased a recumbent cardio bike for my apartment a few days before finding out my cholesterol levels so I guess that was good timing, and as soon as it is delivered I plan on beginning at least a little bit of a cardio routine every day. Just very bothered by the amount of weight I've gained and the way it's affecting me now. I really want to get back to a healthier, happier me!
